Recovery · 90 days and over

Past-due invoices need a neutral party.

Recovery is for commercial accounts that have already slipped. We review the documentation before making contact, work the account as your authorized agent, and charge a contingency fee only when money is recovered.

Commercial accounts only. MW does not accept personal, family, or household obligations.

Send an aging for review

Before we begin

The file has to be work worth doing.

There is no charge to review an aging. We may decline an account if the documentation is incomplete, the account appears disputed, the time for formal action is too close or expired, or a conflict would prevent us from accepting it.

If the account is accepted, the scope and fee are confirmed in writing before we make contact. The rate is set at acceptance according to the account's age at placement.

What we need

Enough paper to ask clearly.

01

The account record

Invoices, the underlying purchase order, contract, or credit application, and proof that the goods were delivered or work was performed.

02

The payment history

A complete payment and credit history, plus relevant correspondence with the commercial account. If there is a guarantee, include it.

03

Anything already known

Tell us about a dispute, bankruptcy, prior placement with another agency, attorney, or beis din, or other fact that changes the picture. It is better to know at review than after contact.

The boundary

MW does not litigate or give legal advice.

Formal process is your decision

If recovery needs more than direct AR work, we report back. You decide whether to refer a file to a beis din, to counsel, or to close it.

We do not initiate proceedings

MW does not commence, prosecute, or threaten to commence a judicial proceeding on a client's behalf.

Price

Contingency, quoted after review.

Recovery rates are tiered by the account's age at placement and are fixed in writing when the file is accepted. Specific percentages are not published while final commercial terms are being confirmed.

There is no placement fee, retainer, or monthly charge for recovery. Approved third-party costs, such as beis din fees or filing fees, are separate and are not incurred above the agreed approval threshold without your written approval.
